The Solar World Congress 2015 will offer other opportunities to participate besides the technical & scientific program. If you are interested in organising a forum, workshop or other special session, you are welcome to submit proposals to the Congress International Organizing Committee. Information about how to submit proposals will be available on this page shortly.
Forums are 1 1/2-hour sessions comprising of 4-6 presenters discussing a common technical or cross-cutting (e.g. policy, financing, energy access, climate change) topic. Forums are structured to allow for significant interaction from the audience.
Workshops, such as training events, can be organized to occur either before or after the Congress. A separate registration fee to participate in a workshop can be established.
Opportunities to participate in other special sessions will be posted here.
A Congress Forum is a 90-minute session that has a different goal and format than technical sessions. The goal of a Forum is to provide diverse points of views and to stimulate audience discussion on a specific topic either within a Congress Theme, across several Themes, or on renewable energy topics not directly covered by the Congress Themes. Topics can be cross-cutting in nature (such as policy or technology developments, market opportunities, community power programs, etc.) and can include late-breaking information. The Forum should consist of two or more invited speakers to present various viewpoints of these topics. The following information is required in the forum proposal. Please email Forum proposals to Dr. Paulette Middleton at paulette@panoramapathways.net. Deadline for submissions: 31 May, 2015
