Full Paper Submission Key Dates

• May 31, 2015: Author notification starts
• October 8, 2015: Author registration (final extended) deadline
• October 30, 2015: Full Paper and Copyright Agreement (final extended) deadline

General Information

• Full papers can only be submitted online via the website submission system.
• Papers sent by post or email will not be accepted.
• Please contact the SWC 2015 Secretariat (abstract@swc2015.org) if you have any problems with submitting your paper.
• All submitted papers must represent original work.
• Each user/author is limited to two (2) presentations (oral or poster) as no more than 2 papers per registered participants can be published in the proceedings.
• Deadline for submission of full papers is October 01 2015.
• All authors must be registered by September 15, 2015 to be included in the program and for their full papers to be reviewed for publication in the proceedings

Format of papers

• All papers must be submitted in English.
• Papers may not exceed 12 pages.
• Templates for the full papers and author instructions are available here.
• Papers should be uploaded as unprotected .pdf and .doc or .docx files.
• All papers must be submitted using the full paper template and the formatting defined within must be followed.
• Do not change the paper formatting of the template and do not insert page numbers! Papers using incorrect formatting may be rejected for publication in the proceedings if the author does not make corrections.
• Please ensure that your paper does not contain spelling, grammatical or scientific errors.
• Follow the reference guidelines and the guidelines for units and symbols provided in the full paper template and instructions.
• Authors must complete the Copyright Agreement Form and return to the Congress Secretariat by October 01, 2015.
• No proof reading will be done, although some corrections may be requested by the reviewers.
• Note: Failure to observe these guidelines may result in rejection of your paper in the proceedings.

Guidelines to submit your full paper

• 1. Log on to the SWC 2015 website with ID and password.
• 2. Fill out the abstract No. which you submitted.
• 3. Upload paper and copyright agreement.
• 4. Check that all the detail on the summary page are correct. If there is any fault, click on change the information and submit it.
• 5. You will be sent a confirmation email with your submission reference number and In your My page you can also check your abstract status.

Review Process and Publication

• Authors will start to receive notification via e-mail regarding acceptance of abstracts on May 31, 2015.
• Acceptance of papers for oral or poster presentation will be based on submitted abstracts.
• Authors presenting posters should be aware that there will be formal poster sessions at the Congress. During these sessions authors will be asked to present a 2-minute summary of their poster, stand by their poster to respond to individual questions and comments by the session attendees.
• A selection of highest quality papers from each theme will be submitted to Solar Energy, the official ISES scientific journal. All papers submitted to the Solar Energy journal will undergo a rigorous review process. All paper which progress to publication will include a footnote alerting readers that this paper was originally presented at the ISES Solar World Congress 2015.
• By submitting an abstract, the authors understand that, if selected, one or more of the authors will personally present the paper or poster at the Congress and that such authors must register and pay the registration fee by 15 September 2015. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from the final Congress program. Only full papers of authors who attend the Congress will be reviewed and published in the final proceedings, or considered for publication in Solar Energy.
• Authors should be aware that accepted papers and posters may be organized in various ways during the Congress.
• All full papers will be peer-reviewed for publication in the proceedings, which will be published ISES in a publicly accessible and searchable online database.
• All papers accepted for publication by ISES will be assigned an individual DOI and be published by ISES under the title "ISES Solar World Congress 2015 Proceedings". Publication in the proceedings is dependent on reviewer approval. 

Modification and withdrawal of submitted papers(s)

• Before the final deadline to upload your paper October 01, 2015, you can review or modify your paper at 'My page' on the website with your own account.
• Please note that no corrections or modificiations are possible after the submission deadline, October 01, 2015
• If you need to withdraw your paper, a written statement reflecting the reasons for decision must be sent to SWC 2015 Secretariat (info@swc2015.org). before October 01, 2015.

Please note the following

• Accepted presenter/author must register for SWC2015 via online registration before September 15.
• Discounted early-bird registration is available until July 31, 2015
