Join scientists, researchers, practitioners, industry, policy makers, financial experts, NGOs and government representatives who come together from around the world to share the latest R&D and renewable energy technology breakthroughs. Learn about successful policy, financing and deployment strategies, as well as pathways to meet growing energy requirements and renewable energy targets locally and globally.

The Congress program features plenary and keynote presentations from global renewable energy leaders, forums on crosscutting themes, workshops and training events; exhibitions; and technical presentations by international researchers, and numerous networking opportunities.

International Plenaries, Expert Keynotes, Exciting Themes

The congress will feature plenary speakers from the Korean government as well as international organizations, representing industry, civil society, Finance and other sectors engage in the transformation to a renewable energy world. Speakers are invited from organizations such as the International Energy Agency, REN-21, UNEP, IRENA, the UN Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) Initiative and leading research institutions.

Each day, following the plenary sessions, the Congress will feature keynote speakers representing expertise in each of the ten Congress themes.

The Solar World Congress has a rich history

ISES is proud of its long heritage of global Solar World Congresses. Held biennially since 1955, the ISES Solar World Congress embodies the spirit of international communication advanced by ISES. The objective of the SWC is to foster and promote communication among the research community, industry and political players. The Solar World Congresses have been bring together the renewable energy community focusing on the cutting edge of renewable energy science, technology and applications.
